Applying Conflict Management Styles to Resolve Task Conflict and Enhance Team Innovation

Task conflicts among group members have a significant impact on team creativity, so it is critical to identify which conflict resolution styles should be used. This paper aims examine how various management influence creativity via task conflict. The empirical research was conducted using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) for sample of 257 employees working Vietnamese organizations. results show that dominating style increases while combining and obliging reduce it. To take advantage creativity-related benefits associated with conflict, leaders develop an open atmosphere encourages participants' integrating styles, rather than styles. negative reflects culture's high collectivism. study provides approaches also highlights role controlling in enhancing innovation. It implies will able work better as practice if strategies are used flexible manner. helps them build good connection successfully implement new ideas.
